You’ve sent off your CV and cover letter and you’re waiting to hear back. In the meantime, you may be wondering how best to prepare for an interview. Here are six Interview Preparation Tips for Fresher that will help you stand out from other candidates:

1. Do Your Research -

Research the company, the interviewer and the job. The more information you have about them, the better prepared you will be for your interview. You can also research relevant industry trends and market conditions to see how they have affected your potential employer's business in ways that may impact its future growth or decline. Similarly, study up on your own skillset so that you can identify any gaps in knowledge related to what they are seeking in an employee at this time. Learn as much as possible about their process for interviewing applicants so that you know what to expect when sitting down with them face-to-face (or via phone). You should be enthusiastic and confident about the job, your abilities, and the company. Be clear on what you want out of this position. Show that you are interested in the job by asking good questions, like: "What are some of the challenges facing this company?" Also show that you're interested in yourself as a candidate by letting them know how great it would be for both parties if there were an opportunity for growth within this organization. 

Lastly, it's important to remain engaged with your interviewer at all times - even if they're asking monotonous questions or not giving much insight into what type of work experience they expect from potential employees (which could be an indicator that it may not be worth applying).

6. Practice the Basics -

The basics of a job interview are important, even if you have no experience at all. Practice the basics, such as shaking hands, introducing yourself and smiling. Practice these in front of a mirror and then practice them again with someone close to you who can give honest feedback. 

You'll want to make sure your body language is good as well—you should be making eye contact with whomever is interviewing you, but don't stare!
